About Dan

Dan has worked his adult life in agriculture, most notably in coffee production. He developed Coffees of Hawaii, a 500-acre fully mechanized specialty coffee plantation on the island of Molokai. For his contribution to the state’s agricultural sector, Dan was recognized by the Hawaii Senate.

Now Dan is working as an independent A 20-foot container with 330 bags of coffee valued at $200,000 to $300,000 US.coffee consultant and is managing dankuhncoffee.com. He has worked across Europe, the Middle East, the U.S. and throughout the Pacific Basin, including Hawaii, Tahiti, American Samoa and Ponapee. In coffee production, he has consulted in the Philippines, Australia, Brazil, Papua New Guinea, Thailand and Laos, Nicaragua, Mexico and Cape Verde. He has addressed industry groups including the Specialty Coffee Association of America, Hawaii Coffee Association, Australian Specialty Coffee Association and the Mexican International Conference on Natural Coffee Production.
